The K&N Apollo Cold Intake System (CIS) stands out as a top-tier universal solution, seamlessly merging an easily maintainable K&N High-Flow Air Filter into its design. Crafted for superior performance, the Apollo’s uniquely shaped structure not only enhances volumetric efficiency but also combines the advantages of an open cone filter and a standard air box within a single unit. By curbing heat build-up, it ensures a consistently cool intake charge. The internal design prioritizes smooth features to minimize air turbulence, maximizing the flow of air. Constructed with a durable yet lightweight outer shell, the Apollo ensures incoming air remains refreshingly cool as it enters the engine chamber.
Included in the K&N Apollo system is a cold air hose, featuring a specially designed radius end cap that directs cooler outside air into the engine. Sporting a 70mm base flange, the Apollo comes complete with a set of vent adaptors, accommodating various engine breathers and temperature sensors from the original air box assembly. These vent sizes range from ?? to 5/8? outside diameter, with a blanking plug provided for instances where a vent adaptor is unnecessary.
Enhancing versatility, the Apollo offers additional accessories such as stepped adaptors in 70mm-70mm (part 85-6002), 70mm-60mm (part 85-6003), and 70mm-80mm (part 85-6001) sizes. For convenient installation on your vehicle, a saddle bracket kit (part 85-6004) is also available. The Apollo caters to normally aspirated engines up to 250BHP and turbo engines up to 350BHP, providing a means to upgrade your intake system while preserving a closed environment.
